Conferencing can be used on any
existing toll-free number on your account, or you
may want to add a new number just for your
conference calls. You may set up the call and
require participants to enter a password, or you may
forego a password and admit any caller - up to 10
participants!
Have more than one conference
going simultaneously by supplying participants with
different passwords to enter their particular
conference. For instance, if you want
simultaneous regional sales conference calls at 2pm
Pacific Time, you might set a password of '1234' for
the Western Regional sales reps, '4567' for the
Midwest Regional sales reps, and '6789' for the
Eastern Regional sales reps to enter for their
particular meeting.
Each password admits callers to a
specific "room" in your "conference hall" hosted on
the same toll-free number. As the administrator of
your account, and keeper of the passwords or "room
keys", you may freely enter and exit each conference
as you prefer, so you may move from "room to room"
and participate in each of the calls!
Conferencing automatically tracks
the number of participants so you don't have to,
even if you're using multi-conferencing! You might
have 7 callers in one room, and three in another;
or, share passwords and let your conference
participants move between "rooms" at their own
discretion.
