Launch Microsoft Entourage (it is part of the Office 2001 Suite).
Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Accounts". The Entourage Setup Wizard will
help configure your account. Enter your name and click the right arrow.
Enter your business information in this next screen and click the right arrow.
In the next screen, select "I want to start using Entourage without importing
anything" and click the right arrow.
In this screen, you can select or not select the "Junk Mail filter" feature of
Entourage. Then click the right arrow.
Enter the name you want to appear in the "From" field of your emails and click the
right arrow.
In this screen, select "I already have an email address that I'd like to use" and
enter your email address in the box, then click the right arrow.
In this screen, choose "POP" for "My incoming mail server is a(n)" and enter the names
of your incoming and outgoing mail servers in the boxes below. Example: If you work for
IBM, then your mail server names will be "mail.IBM.com". Click the right arrow.
In this next screen, enter your email username and password and click the right arrow.
The Account ID is the first part of your email address. Example: If you are checking mail
for "Info@Company.com", then the account name is "Info" (without quotes.) Password is assigned
by your network administrator, or you may have set it up yourself in the web control panel.
You are now finished! Just enter a name for this account (any name of your choosing)
and click "Finish".
